The west bed. Those Anemone Andrea Atkinson I planted in the spring are actually kicking out a few blooms. I love them. The filipendula flora plena is struggling, but I think with the cooler weather it will fill in more.
Corner of the west bed. The impatiens seem to have made it through the summer
A close up of the Anemone Andrea Atkinson
As you can see, most of the plants have been killed by the heat by now. Also, the ants have been HORRIBLE this summer. Look, I know it is cooler in my pots for your home, but YOU ARE NOT INVITED. *sigh*
More of the containers. Containers still standing: dahlias, gerber daisy, geraniums, angelonia, pentas (barely), dianthus, tube rose, and shasta daisies (already cut back for fall).
The mess of jasmine, azaleas and gardenias. Ugh
That square planter with the pentas and purple flower things is doing okay. Not great, but okay. I may dump it to make room for fall bulbs.
Well hello hydrangea bud. Where did you come from? This plant need to be cut back too.
